Two policemen died of dengue, more than half a hundred were infected

2 (Two) members of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) died due to dengue. Besides, it is said that more than half a hundred members of DMP are suffering from dengue fever and are undergoing treatment in the hospital. The 2 (Two) deceased members are constable Russell Shikder of Hazaribagh police station and constable Ayesha Akhter of Gandaria police station. DMP Additional Commissioner (Administration) AKM Hafiz Akhtar confirmed this information on Sunday (July 9) night. He said, so far two of our policemen have died due to dengue. They died last week while undergoing treatment. Apart from this, more than half a hundred members of DMP are under treatment at Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital and Dhaka Medical College Hospital due to dengue. He also said that special instructions have been given to the policemen to avoid dengue.
