Professor Dr. Md. Aynul Islam of Department of Economics has been appointed as Jagannath University Registrar (Acting). The appointment was confirmed through a notice signed by Abdul Halim, Deputy Controller of Examinations in the University on Tuesday (12 March).
According to the notice, Professor Aynul Islam will serve as Registrar (Acting) until further instruction. The order will come into effect from March 13.
He will be entitled to allowances and other benefits as per rules. However, former Registrar Engineer Md. Ohidujjaman resigned for his family reasons on Tuesday.
